The Hugs ‘n Kisses Applique paper is unique because it is made up of half soluble and half non-soluble fibres. The 50% soluble parts will dissolve inside the appliqué when washed leaving soft fibres inside your quilt. So it does not need to removed after applique is complete but can be left in the quilt or project giving stability until laundering.
20 Letter-sized sheets (8.5 x 11 inches) suitable to pass through your inkjet printer. Use for gluestick applique, needleturn, foundation paper piecing, English Paper piecing or as a stabilizer.
Using pre-cut shapes and sizes cut from Applique paper is the easiest method available for English Paper Piecing. Fuse to wrong side of fabric, cut out roughly. Glue or tack edges over. Sew shapes together by hand or machine and use as desired. Leave paper as a stabiliser or wash to soften and partially dissolve.
Print your own shapes on the sheets with your home inkjet printer. You can also copy or print your needleturn applique shapes (or of course you can trace). If they need to be reversed print on the shiny side, if they are already reversed, print on the dull side. if you own a cutting machine such as a Brother Scan and cut or Silhouette Cameo- you can even have it cut the paper shapes for you.
