Steam A Seam Double stick quarter inch tape – This pressure sensitive adhesive allows you to hold and reposition during your project, resulting in a perfect placement. For example: When hemming up pants – tack the hem in place and try on the pants before making it permanent. No pins are necessary – you can simply finger press in place. Fuse when everything is correct. Bonds permanently when ironed, and this tape is also ideal for making your own binding.

To use, cut a piece to size and apply it to the wrong side of your fabric, then iron it to fuse the tape. Next, peel off the protective paper to reveal the other adhesive side. Place your second fabric piece on top, and press with a steam iron for a strong, permanent bond. You can then sew on top without the needle gumming up, or leave the bond as is.
